Here is schedule of adult drama classes to be offered by the Pinewood Players
this summer, 2011.
Adult Drama Classes Open to Everyone in Munds Park (not just Pinewood Players)
There will be a $10.00 charge for the classes. The following is the class agenda:
June 11 - What is the process? Audition workshop. What directors look for?
The casting process.
June 18 - Listening and memory skills workshop.
June 25 - Stage directions, team work, character development, what is blocking?.
July 2 - Character interpretation, script interpretation.
July 9 - Acting tips, techniques. What to do with your hands. How to stand.
Developing confidence.
July 16 - Actors workshop role play (interaction and discussion).
July 23 - So you want to be a director.
This is a great way to learn about theater, and become involved in the Pinewood Players.

Pinewood Players, Inc
Mission Statement: Pinewood Players is a nonprofit, volunteer organization bringing cultural opportunities to adults and youth in the surrounding area, offering community involvement, education, and entertainment. The players entertain the community by presenting three adult shows during each season and giving youths the opportunity of learning and acting in two shows each summer.

Membership: Open to anyone interested; currently directed by a 12-member board.
Funding: Each family pays $18 and single persons pay $10 yearly with a current membership of about 300 people. Additional funding is from theater ticket donations of $10, grants, and cash donations.
Meetings: The Board meets monthly during the summer at Pinewood and three times during the off-season in Phoenix; the full membership meets twice, June and August, in the summer at Pinewood.
